The Face Yoga By Lili method

The Face Yoga by Lili Method is a natural way of looking and feeling younger and healthier with an added sense of relaxation and well-being.

Our face is a magnificent reflection of who we are, at the crossroads of physical, energetic, and emotional dimensions.

By practicing facial yoga, we will allow our face to age well.

What does that mean? It means listening to your body and taking care of your face and all that it is and represents.

Using face yoga will lead you to better understand your wonderful face and the changes it will bring you. Muscles, bones, and layers of the skin are a fascinating insight into the most recognizable part of your body: the face.

The Face Yoga by Lili method will use gentle techniques such as:

-      relaxation,

-      breathing,

-      facial gymnastics using our Face Yoga by Lili method,

-      acupressure, and

-      self-massages.

Through precise and targeted gestures, this 100% natural method will help to keep or regain a younger, healthier, brighter, and more relaxed face.

Thus, by working the face in-depth, blood circulation will be activated and the toxins will be able to be released. This will help in the production of collagen and elastin.

Facial Yoga can be thought of as a natural facelift: the skin will regain its suppleness and will be brighter.

The face and neck benefit as well, regaining their natural harmony.

Our skin ...

Our skin is the most extensive organ in our body and it protects us from external elements as well as protects the muscles below, bones, and internal organs. It is composed of three layers:

1. The epidermis

The epidermis is the top layer of the skin; it is our shield, our waterproof barrier that protects us from the elements and pathogens and gives us a sense of as well as regulates body temperature.

It is composed of four layers.

2. The derm

The derm is the middle layer of the skin; it is a connective tissue that contains collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are produced by small internal plants called fibroblasts, which are also the origin of hyaluronic acid. It also contains blood vessels, the lymphatic system, hair follicles, glands, and nerves. Its main function is to protect us from stress and to give our skin suppleness and elasticity.

3. The hypodermis

The hypodermis is the lower layer of the skin and it is composed of connective and adipose tissue. Its main function is to protect us from trauma and to protect the skin.

Our muscles...

We have 57 muscles between the face and neck and use only about 20%. Just as required for the body, the face needs to be stimulated to remain toned and smooth.

Facial yoga will both relax, stretch and tone facial muscles to reduce and correct the expression wrinkles we may have created by repeated muscle movement.

Indeed, regular muscle toning will help to stop or even reverse the phenomenon.

Also, self-applied massage and acupressure stimulate the fibroblasts that produce collagen and activate the flow of energy to the face which will give the skin a boost of renewal.

Acupressure...

Acupressure is a method of stimulating the energy points of the face along the meridians by finger pressure. It is a technique derived from traditional Chinese medicine.

This practice favors the harmonious circulation of our vital energy, Qi (or prana), and organic fluids (blood, lymph) inside the body.

By increasing the circulation of blood and lymph, acupressure will cleanse, detoxify, and drain. The benefits are important:  elimination of surface wrinkles, reduction of deep wrinkles, increased facial radiance, and improved skin hydration.

Finally, our vital energy, the Qi, will be revived.
